TOM GUY
Tom is a Director at Guy Piper Architects, primarily doing residential projects in London, Oxford and Brighton. In 2005 whilst studying at Oxford Brookes Tom founded National Student Pride which brings students from 170+ Universities and Colleges across the UK together for a weekend of debate, discussion and the UK's largest Diversity Careers fair.
In 2016, after a discussion on the lack of diversity within the profession with Tamsie Thomson, Director of the LFA, Tom started Architecture LGBT+ with a pre pride breakfast at the RIBA.
In 2019 Tom was invited to present the work of Architecture LGBT+ at the launch of the Mayor's Diversity Handbook as well as to the ARB. In 2019 Tom was awarded a Points of Light award by the Prime Minister in recognition of his volunteering work in Diversity and previously was listed on the Pride Power List published in the Guardian.
